Calories DO count? Uh oh.

More and more restraunts are starting to change their menus and lower their food portions. Is that necessary? Yes! Its proven the best way to loose weight is to lower your calorie intake and increase your physical activity. In New York City it is
go, go, go for most people the only way they can squeeze meals in, is to stop at a restraunt. “The popular quiche Lorraine was trimmed to 6 ounces from 11, with extra salad filling out the plate. Sweets like brownies may shrink, too.” Now some people might think that just be the portions are smaller the price will be too, but the prices are the same.

  1. Our future depends on how we take care of our bodies today. Eating at a restaurant and ordering the biggest things on the menu isn’t smart. However, we can limit our intake of food but we should also focus on eating healthier not just less.

  2. we need to take care of our health, by watching what we eat. If our restaurants lower the food portions, we can watch how many calories we eat every day.

  3. I think like Mackinnon said our future does depend on how we take care of of our bodies. Since the restaurants are cutting down the sizes of what we eat, this would probably let us (humans beings) be more aware of what we eat.

  4. Although we are responsible for what we eat, it is comforting to know that our food suppliers are making an effort to help the many who live at a fast pace.
